It was in 1924<\/strong> that the city of Soultz built, using war damage, a forest house in Vosges<\/strong> sandstone on the heights of the Marian site of Thierenbach.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It was in 1979<\/strong> that Mr and Mrs Munsch bought the property that was put up for sale to transform it into a hotel with 19 rooms and a gourmet restaurant which obtained 1 star in the Michelin guide 10 years later. this distinction allows the establishment to develop its influence beyond the department. Its name \u201cLes Violettes\u201d is not linked as we might think to the flower or the color, but to the middle name of Mrs. Munsch.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the year 2000, the Munsch family decided to retire. \u201cLes Violettes\u201d are for sale. It was during this same year that Philippe Bosc, internationally known in the world of home hairdressing with 3,500 employees, decided without hesitation to acquire the property with a view to a renovation that would last 3 years. this child of the country is deeply charmed by the beauty of the site.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

His project: to make this idyllic place a dream destination! At the same time, Philippe Bosc bought the \u201cLes Iris\u201d hotel located next to the Thierenbach basilica<\/a> from the Vonesch family. The infrastructure was completely transformed by the buyer who gave it its name in 2003: La ferme des moines. The restaurant is decorated taking into account the history of the Marian site and the monastic spirit dating back to 1135. A seminar and banquet center with a total capacity of 400 seats is also being created. This makes it a unique site in Alsace, endowed in addition with an exceptional cachet and proven originality.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After numerous transformations, the \u201cLes Violettes\u201d hostelry opened its doors in 2003<\/strong>. In a wonderfully restored setting, there reigns a warm, cozy and authentically Alsatian atmosphere. The decoration is made up of sacred pieces, paintings by masters, various objects from popular arts and traditions as well as antique furniture dating from the 17th century. Statues from the 13th century adorn the reception, in particular that of the Virgin and Child of Strasbourg and then another of Saint-Beno\u00eet.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At the end of 2006, Philippe Bosc decided to add a Spa<\/a> with an area of \u200b\u200b1000m2 to the establishment. A temporary closure of the Hostellerie is scheduled for March 2007 and the first stone of the project is laid by Tomy Ungerer, godfather of Les Violettes.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
